Lower Premium, driving down the price of insurance

A third of people believe they will never own their own home

A new survey from moneysupermarket.com has revealed that due to the cost of borrowing a quarter of people feel that they will never make it onto the property ladder.

Add this figure to the 11 per cent who will not purchase a property out of personal choice and it equates to a third of people who think that they will never own their own home.

This will be good reading to the rental property market, with the outlook that demand will remain strong until the mortgage market softens and lenders relax the criteria that they will lend on.

The rental market will remain strong for several years as even when mortgages become more affordable there will still not be enough houses to satisfy demand as Government targets for building new houses are set to be missed by a long way over the next few years.

This will provide a constant source of tenants for property investors who are looking for long term returns on their investment.

Lowerpremium.co.uk can offer comprehensive let property insurance to protect your investment from damage or compensate you for legal fees and loss of rent due to court action.
