City drivers taking no insurance risk

The British Insurance Broker (BIBA) has commented that van drivers living in big cities are more likely to risk driving their vehicles without insurance compared to those living in smaller towns and villages.

Six of the top ten hot spots for uninsured drivers has been released as areas in the West Midlands, by the Motor Insurance Bureau, finding that it is down to insurance being more expensive in the bigger cities, such as Birmingham and London. If you live in a small rural village you are going to be affected by less crime and less accidents as opposed to someone living in a large city.

Police around the country are cracking down on uninsured drivers, issuing fines, bans and even the crushing of vehicles.

The cost of your insurance should not be an excuse to break the law.
