Co op give generous 1 million bonus

As Christmas looms ever closer and the expenses mounts, hundreds of employees this month wished they worked for the Co-op.

Stephen Foster received a much unexpected bonus this December, which would certainly have eased any money worries. Foster's girlfriend noticed the costly £1.4 million error on his payslip.

Considering the deductions, Foster was left with a particularly handy £800,000 which could have been used to by a Lamborghini Murcielago, a Sandbanks detached home or even a worldwide first class cruise.

However Foster, the honest employee, returned the money to his employers within 12 hours. A spokesman for Co-op commented on Fosters exemplary behaviour and remarked upon the companies concern for the missing million.

He also said regarding Foster's pay slip that it was indeed "somewhat higher than he would have normally been expecting." For Fosters honesty he was awarded a crate of beer, although not quite a million pounds, it will still prove useful over the Christmas period!

Lower Premium supplies a comprehensive selection of policies for domestic insurance and commercial insurance requirements with low insurance premiums.
