The commercial property sector has been hit with more pain after latest figures released show that there has been a record fall in the number of surveyors reporting a demand for space.
Office and industrial sectors are historically low but it is the retail sector that has been the hardest hit with a 59 per cent drop in retail space demand.
Commercial property Landlords will see rents diminish further as the number of properties available exceeds demand due to the country heading into recession.
The news comes at a time when Landlords are feeling the sting of the Governments ending of tax relief on empty commercial properties, which has started to lead to some properties being torn down rather than their owners having to pay tax on an empty property.
With finances tight commercial landlords should look to all avenues to save money. At lowerpremium.co.uk landlords can get a competitively priced quotation for their commercial property needs.
