Direct payment warning to energy suppliers

Ofgem has issued a warning to all energy suppliers after receiving customer complaints.

Customers are having their direct debit payments increased without their knowledge even when they were in credit. The increase in payments that are being taken out of customer’s accounts is causing many customers to run out of money and not have enough to pay other bills that had money allocated to. Adding to the household budgets.

Ofgem has requested that energy companies need to be monitored and need to make a clear guideline for consumers. They have also called for customers paying by cheque or by cash to be given a discount. Purchase your insurance today from www.lowerpremium.co.uk.
