Drink drivers shocked to safety

To reduce the number of car accidents over the Christmas period, The safer road Partnership in Sussex have created a campaign by featuring a graphic design of what happens when drivers ignore safety precautions outside the Gilbourne Centre in Worthing of an upside down car wrapped in a Bow.

Police and Fire fighters in the town have also been handing out leaflets and posters called “The Worst Christmas Gift” warning drivers to take extra care during the festivities.

Police have warned that they will be making a large crackdown on drivers over the limit over the Christmas period by increasing the number of breathalyser tests. Last year they had around 60 fatalities on the road and 70 already this year so they are greatly wanting to reduce these numbers.
