Fire causes for evacuation

A house fire that led to an evacuation in Port Talbot is being investigated after families had to be led to safety.

The terraced property in Port Talbot spread fire through the ground floor and the first floor, also causing damage to two adjoining properties.

Fire crews were called to the blaze at 1am on Thursday 7th May to get the fire under control.

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service were at the scene until 3.45 am until the blaze was under control and put out.

No one was injured in the incident.
