The rural estate, belonging to Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall situates two 18th Century style cottages which they will be letting out as a holiday retreat, providing accommodation that is quite literally fit for a (future) king.
The cottages will be let out for as little as £600 week and sleep up to 10 people between them. Dogs are also welcome to the property, providing they are “well behaved”.
Unfortunately, whilst grabbing a sample of Llwynywermod’s royal life there will not be any chance of bumping into Prince Charles or the Duchess of Cornwall as the properties will only be rented out whilst they are not there.
The home was first purchased for the couple back in 2006 and they have spent over £1.8m on renovation work on the estate using as many traditional welsh materials as possible, including sheep’s wool instillation and hemp plaster. Alongside the boast stone flagged floors and Oak-shuttered windows, mod cons, including broadband access, have been installed within the holiday cottages.
The estate will be visited later this year by Tourism Chiefs and it is expected to receive a five-star rating.
