Return of the Black Stig on Topgear

New footage has been found on YouTube yesterday, showing the original black stig making his way out of the ocean. Many think that after the current white stig’s identity being revealed the BBC are bringing back the original.

The original stig became a household name after Jeremy Clarkson created the character when the show was re-launched in 2002. The character was retired around the time that he was revealed as British racing driver Perry McCarthy.

Accompanying the video footage on the website was a press release explaining that until now the original stig was thought to be dead as back in 2003 he drove a modified Jaguar off of the end of the HMS Invincible aircraft carrier at 109MPH and was never seen again.

There has been speculation as to how the stig survived in the water for so long but some believe that he survived by using the nitrous Octane equipment from the Jag to breathe. Another idea is that he can communicate with dolphins and they cared for him!
