Reversing minibus injures man

£365,000 has been awarded to a trainee teacher after he was crushed by a reversing School Mini-Bus whilst stood at his own vehicle.

The accident left him with a shattered pelvis, which required months of Hospital treatment and now suffers from Osteoarthritis and will need at least three hip operations in the future.

The Mini-Bus driver was found guilty of driving without due care and attention. The insurers offered the man £100,000 in compensation, which he turned down. The final settlement of £365,000 was reached out of court.
