Van driver mistakes roof for road

A family home in Moelfre near Abergele in Conwy was rudely awoken from slumber when a van fell from the road above on to the roof of their home.

The incident which occurred on the morning of Tuesday 8 September was called in to North Wales Police who arrived at the scene to discover a white transit van strewn across the roof of the unsuspected residents below.

Luckily, even though a power cable was pulled down during the catastrophe, no one in the property or the vehicle was injured.

The property, which has been left looking like a scene from an action movie, will have to be resolved by the owner's vehicle insurance company.

You can purchase your vehicle insurance online from Lower Premium, also providing house insurance.
