Aberdeen city centre witnessed a multiple car blaze on Monday 17 August, as several cars went up in smoke, as Grampian Fire and Rescue service were called to the scene in the early hours of the morning.
The fire service took one hour to quell the blaze in a normally fairly quiet and inactive neighbourhood of Aberdeen where two Volkswagen Golfs and people carrier were completely decimated by the blaze, a further two Golfs were also damage.
A member of staff confirmed that the five new cars involved in the fire belonged to Arnold Clark, however it is still uncertain what caused the fire in the stationary vehicles.
The fire caused almost £50,000 worth of damage and Arnold Clark will certainly be thankful for their car insurance to recuperate their company losses.
The fire service has not confirmed if the flames were fanned by an arson attempt or any other suspicious circumstances, however arson is the most common cause of fires.
